Hi there! I'm Sarah Rose, the illustrator of all the goodies you will find on Paper Cat Club. I live in sunny Suffolk in a rural village with my husband Cris, little boy and our 3 rescue cats - Poppy, Willow and Coco - my muses!
You can often find me at craft fairs and markets usually around Norfolk & Suffolk and occasionally further afield like Birmingham, London, Nottingham and Lincoln - you can keep up to date with where I'm going to be by clicking the link in the menu!
My background is in stationery and giftware design for licenses including Sanrio, Pusheen, Tokidoki & Marvel as well as own brand illustrated stationery.
In 2022 I made the decision to take my business full time and left my job of 8 years in search of a healthier home/work balance and a chance to really explore my creativity. This has enabled me to spend more time with my little boy who started school last September and always be there for school pick ups and drop offs.
It has been so much fun watching my little business grow from a few linoprints when I started out on Etsy during the first lockdown to now; a shop full of stationery, art and cute pins that is stocked in shops across the globe. I started my business as 'Fox & Fauna' and this year made the move to 'Paper Cat Club' which I felt better expressed the look and feel of my shop - cute, kawaii, colourful and all about the cats!
